WHAT TO BRING & PACKING GUIDE
What To Bring:
We suggest checking weather conditions prior to your arrival in order to pack appropriately. Winter months (November 1st – April 30th) are usually lovely with cooler temps and may experience occasional rain so pack accordingly. Summer months (May 1st – October 30th) will be warmer with July and August being the hottest months. Rain is not likely during these months.
Bring layers, leave fancy attire at home – this is your time to recharge in comfortable clothing. Daily laundry services will be available. We provide shampoo and conditioner, soap, a hairdryer, and hiking poles.
Layering Tips:
- BASE LAYER – Sweat-wicking first layer (will be in direct contact with your skin). Good fabrics include polypro, merino wool and silk. Cotton is discouraged as it stays damp.
- MIDDLE LAYER – The insulating layer that traps body heat. Polar Fleece and wool are preferable.
- OUTER LAYER – Shields from wind and rain. Gore-Tex or something similar is best – it’s waterproof and breathable.
